Obituary
ALDENA M. PRAYOR, Age 80, a resident of Wyatt, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Charleston Manor.
Born August 3, 1930 at Dardanelle, Arkansas, to the late Floyd and Pollie Cossey Phillips, she had lived in Wyatt since 1940 where she was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church. A graduate of the Diehlstadt High School, she was valedictorian of her class.
In April 1949, she married Bill G. Prayor, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2010. Also preceding her in death was one son, Billy Keith Prayor.
Surviving are: one grandson, Timothy Keith Saulter of Alabama; one brother, Vern Phillips; three sisters, Eloise DeVerger of Quincy, IL; Syble Ridnour of Greenwood, SC and June Fuller of Laurens, SC.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Chalreston. Rev. Kenneth Gibson of Wyatt, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: James O'Connor, Earl O'Connor, Riley Fitzgerald, Sr., Kevin Fitzgerald, Clifton Cossey and Tracy Cossey.
