Alexis Kathleighn Jenkins, 9, a resident of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Sikeston, passed away at her home, Monday, Jan. 19. She was born in Sikeston July 4, 2005 to Roger D. "R.J." and Bridgette Kaye (Wren) Jenkins, II who survive of the home. She was a 4th grade student at Westwood Baptist Academy at Poplar Bluff. Besides her parents, she leaves a sister, Hanah Kaye Jenkins of the home; paternal-grandparents, Roger D. & Teresa D. Jenkins of Sikeston; her maternal grandparents, David & Tammy Wren of Sikeston; paternal great grandparents, Lillian Jenkins and Jerry & Estelle Hampton all of Sikeston; and maternal great-grandmother, Glenda Wren of Ocala, Florida. Also surviving are 2 aunts, 2 uncles and 3 cousins. Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 5 until 8 pm Wednesday. Graveside services will be held at 10 am Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. J.D. McClard, pastor of the Country Church of Sikeston officiating and burial to follow.
