ALICE LORRAINE HAYDEN, Age 81, a resident of East Prairie, died Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born February 9, 1934, at Rural Retreat, VA, to the late Robert and Alice Holback Thompson; she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life, having lived in East Prairie a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bertrand.

On June 14, 1972, she married Charles Arvel Hayden, who preceded her in death on May 19, 1997.

Surviving are her children, Esther Ann (Al) Dulinskas of Palos Heights, IL; Mike Hall of Sikeston, MO; Louise Hayden of Benton, MO; Robert Karidis of East Prairie, MO; Kim Hayden of Benton, MO; Charles Hayden of Matthews, MO; Joanie (Calvin) Hull of Braddyville, IA; Mike Hayden of Covington, TN; Debbie Messersmith and Dawn Kasza both of Boonsboro, MD; David (Cindy) Kasza of Westminster, MD; Richard (Ladonna) Hayden of East Prairie, MO; Betty Hayden of Sikeston, MO and Mary Hayden of Clarinda; IA; 31 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Henry and Floyd and by three sisters, Mary, Ruth and Bess.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2015, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Rev. Gerald Collier, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bertrand, will officiate.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
