Ray "Allan" Kettles, Jr., 52, formerly of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019, in Jefferson City. He was born Sept. 3, 1966 in Festus to Martha (Hutton) Kettles Rasberry who survives of Sikeston and the late Ray Allan Kettles, Sr. Allan was of the Baptist faith, was an avid Drag Racer, and had been a resident of the Sikeston area until moving to Jefferson City about 2 years ago; he worked there as a welder at Doolittle Trailer, Mfg. in Holt's Summit. He was first married to Tana Beetley Sept. 3, 1987 in Sikeston; he later married to Denise Hency Dec. 15, 2007 in Bertrand. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Martha and William Rasberry of Sikeston; 3 sons: Jorden & Jessica Kettles of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jacob Hency and Jeremy Hency both of Jefferson City; 2 Daughters, Staci & Jason Segura of Sikeston and Jenni Hency of Cape Girardeau; 1 brother, Rick Rasberry of Bentonville, Ark, and 1 sister Liz Nothnagle of Joplin. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren Damien Kettles, Arianna Kettles, Baylee Hackworth, Abbie Segura, Joseph Hency and Nessea Hency. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Alyssa Hency Dec. 30, 2018. Visitation will be at Blanchard Funeral Chapel Saturday from 11:00 AM until time for services at 1:00 PM. Rev. Steve Vester, pastor of Old Bethel Baptist Church will officiate and burial will follow at Silent Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
