Alleene Christine French Tyrone, age 89, of Sikeston, MO, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born February 13, 1935, at Point Pleasant in New Madrid County, MO, to the late Robert French and Nellie Dillard French, she was a graduate of Marston High School.   For over 19 years she was employed with Sikes Sporting Goods and had been employed with REA Electric.  She loved cats and dogs, gardening and pulling weeds, loved cleaning her home and especially loved listening to Elvis Presley. She was proud to say she saw him live in Sikeston and in St. Louis.  She had a passion for dancing.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bobby Joe Tyrone.

Also surviving is her children, Bradford (Janice) Shane of Olathe, KS; Vicki (Gary) Johnson of Oakland, TN and Dennis White Riverview, FL; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rose Hall.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until noon, Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
