Alma Bernida "Toots" Robey, 96, a long time resident of Sikeston, died Saturday Dec. 24, 2016 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.  She was born June 18, 1920 near Pauldine, MO to the late William Martin and Elnora Sidonia (Sheets) Kenser.  On Nov. 21, 1936 she was married to Jim Adolph Robey near Bloomfield and he preceded her in death Dec. 4, 1993.  She had been a cook for Sikeston Public Schools for many years.  Survivors include 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Ron Allen and Cecelia Robey of Phoenix, AZ, Gary Wayne and Nancy Jo Robey of Scott City, Tom & Margaret Robey of Jackson and Jeff and Pennie Robey of Sikeston; 4 daughters, Claudean Hasty, Shirley Robey and Carolyn Sue "Judy" Huff all of Sikeston and Cheryl Ann Robey of Aripeka, Florida.  Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Jimmy and Donnie Robey, 1 daughter Darlene Robey, 2 grandsons, Robbie Stacy and David Ross and by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.  Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 29 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 11:00 am until time for services at 1:00 pm.  Rev. Dwayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church will officiate and burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be David Hasty, Travis Hasty, Patrick Bugg, Brad Robey, Chris Robey, Cody Arnold and Kyle Fitzgerald.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
