Amy grew up in Charleston and East Prairie where she had attended the First Church of God and once sang in the choir.  She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and birthday parties.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her children, Lillian (William) Emerick of East Prairie; Leslie Paul (Serita) Williams of Arlington, KY ; Billy Matthew Williams of Groton, CT; Jeremiah Williams and Joshua Williams both of Arlington, KY; her grandchildren, Lyric Emerick, Amiya Emerick , Betty Emerick, Addison Barbee, Harper Barbee, Kaitlynn Barbee, Jaycee Barbee and one on the way; her Goddaughter, Kylee Walters; grandmother, Minnie Garrett; brothers and sisters, Vicky (AJ) Groves; Mary Weaver; Albert Wade Toombs, Jr., Brittany Nichole Moody, Gina Moody,  Michelle Mendez, Kim Bristol, Genna Marie Ozie, Michael Brown and Stephanie Blood; also, a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Charles Toombs and Paul Marshall Northington; her sister, Natalie Nichole Toombs; and her grandparents, Kenneth Toombs, Virginia Mae Nance Toombs Manker and Joe Garrett.

Visitation will be from noon until time for memorial services at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2023 , at the New Beginnings Church in East Prairie.  Pastor Randy Eskew will officiate.

A dinner will follow in the church dining hall.
