ANNE ELIZABETH AUSTIN WRIGHT, Age 83, formerly of Charleston, died Thursday, September 14, 2017, at The Estates of Perryville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born January 25, 1934, at Hayti, MO, to the late William C. and Essie Dotson Austin, she had lived in Charleston most of her life later moving to Cape Girardeau and then Perryville to be near her daughter. She had attended the Church of Christ and had been employed with the Brown Shoe Company and Gates Rubber Company in Charleston until her retirement.

On June 18, 1961, she married Jacob Burl "Jack" Wright, who preceded her in death on October 25, 2006.

Surviving is one son, Rick (Sandy) Hall of Steele, MO; three daughters, Teri Hall (Gary) Perry of St. Charles; Elizabeth Hahn of Perryville and Jennifer Powell of Carlinville, IL; two brothers, Glen Austin of Cape Girardeau and Jerry Austin of Paragould, AR; five sisters, Ernestine Clubb of Ashville, NC; Carolyn Albert of Collerville, TN; Linda Miller of Judsonia, AR; Kathleen Reed of Paragould, AR and Sue Archibald of Fresno, CA; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jacob William Wright; one son in law, Leroy Hahn and one grandson, Christopher Hall.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Her brother in law, Paul Miller, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
