Archie E. Garth, Jr., formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died July 16, 2018,  of natural causes at his home in Southaven, Miss. He was 72.

Mr. Garth was married to the former Patricia L. Nall, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, Archie Andrew Garth.

Following his 1964 graduation from East Prairie High School, Mr. Garth relocated to Memphis, Tenn., where he enjoyed a 42-year career in the automotive parts industry.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Melanie Garth and grandchildren, Zachary Roberts and Mckenna Buchanan, all of Southaven, Miss., a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Katy Garth of Murray, Ky., two nieces, Rebecca Garth of Murray, Ky., and Sarah Garth of Evansville, Ind., several other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were held Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie with McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
