Arlene Frances Sherrod, age 75, of Sikeston, passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 8, 2023, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Arlene was born February 11, 1947, at Flint, MI, to the late Everette Francis Sherrod and Inis Eleanora "Dee" Quinn Sherrod.
Arlene spent most of her life in Michigan and worked in the jewelry department of J.C. Penny from 1975 until her retirement in 2000. In 2005, Arlene moved to Sikeston to be near family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jewell Sherrod Childs and Donna Marie Sherrod.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private Services will be held with burial at Flint, MI at a later date.
McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
