BARBARA ANN CASEY, Age 73, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at her home in Sikeston.

She was born February 26, 1943, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Charles "Charlie" Brown, Sr. and Iva Sherwood Brown. She had lived in Sikeston most of her life working as a house painter and cleaning lady and was of Pentecostal Belief.

On September 25, 1983, she married Jimmy Joel Casey, who preceded her in death on July 14, 2011.

Surviving is one son, James Robert Gadbury, Jr. of Sikeston; three daughters, Theresa (Greg) Wren of Herculaneum, Joann Poley of Sikeston; Kathy (Glen) Hess of Leadington; two sisters Pearlmae Watson of Morehouse and Dorothy Overton of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son in law, George W. Poley; one grandson, Kenneth James Gadbury, one great great granddaughter, Ashley Conway; four brothers, Charles Brown, Jr., Elgy Brown, Billy Brown and Marvin Brown; one sister, Shirley Jean Powell and several infant brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. (family at 9:30 am) until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Randy Conn of Morehouse, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
