Barbara Louise Sisk

Barbara Louise Sisk, age 69, died Thursday, August 12, 2021, at her home near Sikeston.

She was born March 5, 1952, at Rogers City, Michigan, to the late Bertrand Brassuer and Frances Lucille Webber Brasseur.  She had lived in Sikeston a number of years where she worked as a certified nurse aide at Sikeston Convalescent Center and then as a licensed practical nurse both there and the Hunter Acre's Caring Center a number of years.  She had attended the Chapel by the Lake.

On December 20, 1978, she married Kenneth Dale Sisk, who preceded her in death on December 9, 2019.

Surviving are her children, Kenneth Sisk, Tammy Granger and Renee Golden; her grandchildren, Rick, Lilly, Jessica, Ashley, Oscar, Emilia, Carlos, LaJayness and DmiTri; her great grandchildren, Ailena, Aniylah, Mary, Josiah, Adrianna, Natalie, Vanessa and Kennedy; her brothers, Dale Brasseur, Neil Brasseur and Ray Brasseur; as well as a number of nephews and nieces.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Gerold, Leonard, Pauline, David, Larry and Richard.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Brock Thornsbrough, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
