Obituary
BARBARA JEAN LAUGHLIN TATUM, Age 76, a resident of East Prairie, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born February 19, 1940, in New Madrid County, Missouri, to the late Rolla Laughlin and Rachel Pauline Flowers Laughlin, she had lived in East Prairie most of her life where she was a 1958 graduate of East Prairie High School and was a member of the First Christian Church.
On August 15, 1962, she married Bobby Dale Tatum, who preceded her in death on May 13, 2010.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Brinlee of East Prairie; two brothers, Lindell Laughlin of East Prairie and Paul Willis Laughlin of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Kristi Krauss of Charleston; Ricky Krauss of Bertrand and Pamela Krauss of East Prairie; one great granddaughter, Aubrey Rae-Leigh Krauss of Bertrand; and a special family friend, Mark Gaddy, of East Prairie.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Rolla Laughlin and one sister, Judith Ann Laughlin.
Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
There will be no funeral services and burial will be private.
