Obituary

Baylee, 'Ken/Kenny G', Freeland 19, left this world on January 19, 2024.

Baylee was born on June 16, 2004 to Heather Freeland (Sikeston) and Matthew Halbert (Lincoln, Nebraska).

Baylee was a graduate of Sikeston high school in 2022 and decided to pursue a degree in Nursing. Baylee was a red pepper and enjoyed her time with friends.

Baylee is the sister to Jasmine and Matthew Halbert, and Ty'lae Blackmon. niece to Billy (Brandy) Freeland, Tracy (Scott) Vanover, Samantha'Sammie' (David) Gaines, and Patience'PD' (Charlie) Nelson and granddaughter to Bill "Papa" and Ruby "Nana" Freeland.

Baylee leaves behind several people who loved and cared for her including several cousins, friends, and longtime friend, Chris Bonner.

Baylee's light and love shined bright during our time with her and through her selfless acts, her love and light live on through our memories as well as all the people she helped with organ donation.

A celebration of life memorial will be held on February 17, 2024, at The Sanctuary in Sikeston, MO.   The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. that morning until the service time at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, plants and gift items, the family requests memorials be made to the Bulldog Pantry, c/o 315 Baker Street, Sikeston, MO 63801
