BEACH ALBERT 'BEACHIE' DEAN, JR., 74, a resident of Charleston, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Born July 2, 1944, at Dorena, MO, to the late Beach Albert Dean Sr. and Maxine Elizabeth Byassee Dean, he was a 1963 graduate of East Prairie High School. He had lived in Mississippi County his entire life and was a retired carpenter. He loved fishing, gardening and hunting but especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He was married to Patricia Ann Smith, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are two sons, Ronnie Dean of Louisiana and Beachie Ray (Mandy) Dean of East Prairie; one daughter, Rhonda Sue Terrell of Harford, MI; one brother, Roy Dean of East Prairie; three sisters, Mary Dean, Lucy (Mark) Mars and Cindy (Lee) Minehart all of East Prairie; one sister in law, Joyce (Ray) Manning of Hartford, MI; six grandchildren, Lezscano Len Dean, Kassiah Skinner, Seabrook Dean Fields. Mason Lee Dean, Elijah S. Hall and Hope Rae Dean; one great granddaughter, Isabella Fields.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Sammy Dean.

Family and friends may assemble at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2018, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston for graveside rites. Larry Ivie, will officiate.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
