Treva Bernice "B" Patterson, 87, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau. She was born July 1, 1926 at Clarksville, Ark. to the late Reece C. Reeder, Sr. and Stella Elta (Vangilder) Reeder. She had been a house painter, a seamstress at Falkoff's and a machine operator at Anchor Toy and the Oran Hat Factory and had attended North Acres General Baptist Church. She was first married Jan. 29, 1944 to James Daniel Alsup in Sikeston and he preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1963, she was later married to Boyd Jefferson Patterson March 17, 2000 at Benton and he preceded on Jan. 8, 2001. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Treva Janis Story and Geneva & Ken Albright all of Sikeston; two brothers, Reece C. Reeder, Jr. of Sikeston and James Robert Reeder of Ft. Smith, Ark; and one sister Freda Ayers of Sikeston. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends may call from 12:30 pm until time for services at 2:00 pm Monday, Dec. 23 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Rev. Lee Brown will officiate and burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
