Ethel Berniece Shaw Harris, age 90, of Sikeston, died Monday, October 23, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dexter, Missouri.

Born December 16, 1932, at Bertrand, MO, to the late William Dewey Shaw and Florence Truett Shaw, she had lived in Sikeston a number of years and was retired from Brown Shoe Company at Charleston.  She was of Baptist Belief.

She was married to James Robert Harris who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Norman Dale Manker of Bloomfield and Donna Medlock of Zalma; two sisters, Martha Curtis of Oran and Edna Fox of Bellevue, Illinois; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Tonya Dale Manker, Kristie Medlock and Danny Schaefer; her brothers, Gene Shaw and Bill Shaw and her sisters, Pauline Armstrong, Lillian Bailey, Ruth Western and Helen Louise Trousdale.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston with Raymond and Charles Armstrong officiating.

Pallbearers will be Tim Landing, Cody LaBoube, Jimmy Morlan, Steven Western, Kelly Harms and Nathan Harms.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
