Obituary

Betty Sue Crider, age 86, of Sikeston, died Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the Cotton Point Living Center in Matthews, MO.

Born September 27, 1936, in Morehouse, MO, to the late Clyde Crider and Willie Lorene McGarity Crider, she had lived in Morehouse most of her life and was a lifelong member of the First Oneness Pentecostal Church at Morehouse.  For over 30 years she was employed as a licensed practical nurse with St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau until her retirement.

Betty was a loving and caring person, always worried about others.

Surviving are her brothers, George (Judy) Crider of St. Louis and Samuel Crider of Sikeston; her sister, Barbara (Howard) Landers of Sikeston; her sister in law, Marilyn Crider of St. Louis, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Crider, Clyde E. "Sonny" Crider, Jimmy Crider, Howard Crider, Mike Crider and Winston Crider and her sister, Tamara Loreli Crider.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Rev. Jimmy Vent will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
