Obituary
BETTY JEAN PRESSON HALEY, age 82, formerly of Charleston, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at her home in Benton, MO.
Born August 28, 1935, at Charleston, MO, to the late William Clarence Presson and Flora Irene Smith Presson, she had lived in Charleston most of her life and was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Ann Sanderson of Benton; Sandra Kay Miller of Martin, TN and Terri Lynn Haley of Marble Hill, MO; two brothers, Harold Presson of Diehlstadt and Danny (Kitty) Presson of Charleston; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Presson and three sisters, Mabel Graben, Helen Martin and Dorothy Stewart.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Ted Wimberley, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Branden Caid, Roy Moore, John Martin, Kyle Hahn, David Shelton and Kenny Eftink.
