Obituary

Betty C. Jobe, 77, a life-long resident of Sikeston, died at Clearview Nursing Center, Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born September 4, 1936 at McMullin to the late Ed and Susie (Barnes) Cline. She retired from Missouri Delta Medical Center and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Mark Jobe, 1 nephew,, Ed Cline, Jr. , 1 niece, Deborah Hodges and an extended family of loving friends. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, W.E. (Dub) Cline, Jr. and by one sister, Anna Sue Cline. Visitation will be at First United Methodist Church from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, July 28. Funeral Services will be held at the church at 10:30 am, Tuesday, July 29 with Rev. Jennifer Moxley, the associate pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Active pallbearers will be Charlie Upton, Jim Barnes, Bob Barnes, Bob Cline, Bob Rimel & Craig Welker. Honorary pallbearers will be James Watson, Bob Depro, Dr. Don Cento, Luke Upton & Chris Edwards. Friends may share condolences with the family at blanchardfuneral.com. The family requests memorial donations in her honor to First United Methodist Church of Sikeston, Sikeston Public Library or Missouri Delta Medical Center Foundation.
