William Chester "Bill" Smith
Bill was born on April 26, 1968, to Troy Arthur Smith and Sue (Hunt) Smith in Charleston, Missouri. Bill passed on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO, after a battle with cancer.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Smith of Charleston; sisters, Alice (Joel) Haddock, and Toni (Matt) McCaffrey; daughter, Aaren Barton; two grandchildren, Aubrey and Mason; and nephews, Joshua Haddock and Dalton Haddock.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Troy Smith, as well as his Great Aunt and Uncle, Alvina and Lonnie Stader.
A small memorial gathering will be set at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's memory to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
Arrangements are with McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
