BILL WARREN, Age 72, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at his home in Bertrand.

Born May 1, 1940, at Harrisburg, Arkansas, to the late Maurice Deroy and Grace Cochran Warren, he had lived in Scott and Mississippi Counties his entire life where he was employed in construction. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the First Baptist Church of Bertrand.

Surviving are: one daughter, B.J. Warren of Bertrand; three brothers, Bob Warren of Villa Rica, GA; Curtis Warren of Pensacola, FL and Bob Grissom of Sikeston; four sisters, Daurice "Dee" Neher of Jonesboro, AR; Mary Lou Johnson and Joyce Clark both of Wappapello, MO and Brenda Fitzgerald; one grandson, Hunter Dale Dorris of Bertrand and one great grandson, Skot Alan Dale Dorris of Bertrand.

One daughter, Katrina Lynn Warren, one grandson, Austin Ray Kirby and one brother, Dennis Burgess, all preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Eric McGruder and Mike Johnson, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Maynard Cemetery near Diehstadt under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Thomas Bailey, Kevin Terrell, Michael Hurley, Justin Warren, Jerry Canter, Dennis Estes, Roger Howlett and Dale Wilkerson.
