BILLY DON FRANCIS, Age 80, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at his home in Charleston.
Born August 17, 1937, at 34 Corner in Mississippi County, MO, to the late John Jefferson Francis and Gladys Allene Skinner Francis, he had lived in Charleston most of his life where he had worked on the boat and as a millwright and building contractor until his retirement. He was of the Baptist Belief.
Surviving is one son, Christopher Francis of Charleston, two daughters, Cheryl Ann (Robert) Morgan of Charleston and Cynthia Francis of Knoxville, TN; one brother, Jerald Francis of Scott City; one sister, Linda Sullivan of Wickliffe, KY; three grandchildren, Amanda Poindexter, Josh Payne and Cody Francis; two great grandchildren, Arianna Poindexter and Aidan Poindexter.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Francis.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Dean Wallace, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Josh Payne, Josh Hedge, Brian Vinson, John McGill, Billy Wayne Housman and Gail O'Connor.
