Billy Ray Joynson, age 60, died Saturday, August 20, 2022, at his home in Morehouse.

He was born September 20, 1961, at Dexter, MO, to the late Gaylon Joynson and Laverne Rella Ross Holt.  He had lived in Benton most of his life having lived in Morehouse the past 10 years.

On December 28, 1989, he married Debbie Stiltz, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his sons, Paul Leroy (Sarah) Gammons, Jr. of Sarasota, FL and Allen Michael (Tiffany) Hensley of Fort Benning, GA, his grandchildren, Hallie Gammons, Brice Gammons and Ann Alicia Gammons. Also, his father in law and mother and law, Jesse and Etta Vinson of Charleston.

In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded by his stepfather, Earl Holt and one granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Hensley.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will follow in the Unity Cemetery near Benton under the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
