Billy Wayne Westmoreland, 74, a life-long resident of the Sikeston area, died at his home, Thursday April 19, 2018.  He was born June 1, 1943 in Sikeston to the late William Willard and June Jeanette (Turner) Westmoreland.  Billy was of the Baptist faith, and was described by his family as a workaholic and he loved to hunt & fish.  He had been employed with the Sikeston Housing Authority since Sept. 17, 1979 and was currently a maintenance supervisor.  On July 21, 1993 he was married to Eva Marie (Saulsberry) Masegian in Scott County and she survives of the home.  He is also survived by 5 sons:  Randy (Melissa) Westmoreland of Morehouse; C. J. (Mary Jo) Masegian of Sikeston; Kenneth (Jessica) Masegian of Sikeston; Colton Westmoreland of Sikeston and Wesley Westmoreland of Dexter; 2 daughters: Tammy Parsons of St. Louis and Marissa Nall of Dexter; 1 brother, Gary "Butch" Westmoreland of Cleburne, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and 1 uncle, Sonny Westmoreland.  Visitation will be at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Monday, April 23 from 11:00 am until time for services at 1:00 pm.  Rev. Tom Cantwell, Chaplain with Legacy Hospice will officiate and burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be C. J. Masegian, Kenneth Masegian, Justin McLemore, Bradley Freeland, Perry Gaskins, Tori Rose and Sonny Cagle.  Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Westmoreland and Colton Westmoreland.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
