Obituary

Harold A. "Bo" Hoskins, 85, died Friday, January 17, 2020 at his home near Sikeston.  He was born December 20, 1934 at Conway, Arkansas to the late Norman Lee and Abbie (Baremore) Hoskins.

Bo was a longtime resident of this area and had been a forklift operator at Potlatch/Tetra Pak and he was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church.

On May 3, 1957 he was married to Barbara Latham in Bloomfield and she survives of the home.  Also surviving are three sons:  Rick Hoskins of Sikeston, Glenn (Leah) Hoskins of Sikeston and Bryan (Nichole) Hoskins also of Sikeston; 1 brother, William David Hoskins of Troy and 1 sister Susie Waters of Bloomfield also survive.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren:  Jennifer (David) Backfisch, Rachael Hoskins, Blake (Courtney) Hoskins, Rebecca Hoskins, Derin (Natasha) Hoskins, Macee Hoskins and Tristian Hoskins; and 4 great-grandchildren:  Kaitlyn, Allison and Mallory Backfisch and Zoii Hoskins.  He was preceded in death by 1 son, Jimmy Hoskins on Dec. 9, 1976 and by 3 brothers, John Franklin Hoskins, Loyeal Wesley Hoskins and Vernon Edward Hoskins.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, from 11:00 am until time for service at 1:00 pm at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Steve Vester, pastor of Old Bethel Baptist Church will officiate and burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Caleb Smith, Blake Hoskins, Derin Hoskins, David Backfisch, Leslie Cantrell, Tony Cantrell and Tristian Hoskins.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Vester and Micah Vester.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
