Bo Jenkins

Guy Albert "Bo" Jenkins, Jr., age 47, died Friday, May 16, 2025, at his home near Sikeston.

Born May 10, 1978, at Sikeston, MO, to Guy Albert Jenkins, Sr. and Linda Reeves Jenkins, he was a 1997 graduate of Thomas J. Kelly High School.  Bo had lived in Sikeston his entire life and was a member of the Heartland Harvest Church of God of Prophecy where he played the drums with the praise and worship team.  He was employed with Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston.

Bo was an avid sportsman and loved rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, the Atlanta Braves, Boston Celtics and the University of Alabama- "Roll Tide"

On February 20, 1999, he married Beverley Lee Ann Wheatley, and she survives.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bo is survived by his son, Trey Jenkins; his daughter, Karleigh Jenkins (Alex Orduna); his grandchildren, Alexia, Ava, Ally, Alex Jr., and MaKenna Orduna; his paternal grandmother, Lillian Jenkins; his sister, Kristi (Chris) Rataj; his brother, Richard (Leslie) Jenkins;  his brother in law, William "BJ" Wheatley; and his sister in law, Melissa (Todd) Crumley; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Francis Jenkins and his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Polly Reeves.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Heartland Harvest Church of God of Prophecy.  Pastor Todd Crumley will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be Jed Payne, Rob Russell, RJ Jenkins, Eric Hightower, Jeremy Hutcheson, Jamie George, Cody Pullen and George Durrow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to help the family during this difficult time may be sent in care of Todd and Melissa Crumley, 1235 Arches, Sikeston, MO 63801.
