Obituary

BOBBY GLEN "Bob" BONE, Age 72, died at 3:20 p.m., Sunday, December 12, 2010 at his home in Charleston.

Born April 11, 1938, at Charleston, Missouri to the late Isaac "Ike" and Laverne Glass Bone, he had lived in Charleston most of his life and was retired as a supervisor from MoDOT after 32 years of service in 1992. A U.S. Navy Veteran, he was a Chief Petty Officer having served on the USS Navarro. He was of Baptist Belief.

On October 16, 1964, he married Brenda Faye Ice who survives of the home.

Also surviving are: one son and son in law, Brandon Glen Bone and Robert Louis Bourguignon of East Norwalk, CT; and one brother, Gary Bone of Charleston.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Shirley Eugene Bone and one sister, Geraldine Bone Mungle.

Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 16, 2010. Rev. Dan Faust, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Charleston will officiate. A eulogy will be offered by Rev. Tom Bridges of Bertrand.

Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston with Military Graveside Rites provided by the US Navy and the Missouri Military Honors Program.

Pallbearers will be: Max Carlyle, Charlie Samons, Kevin Bone, Bud Bone, Justin Ice and Ken Stevenson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Doug Fletcher, Bob Jones, Burl Hite, Shelby Spencer and Bill Brown.
