BOBBIE LYNN JOHNSON HODGES, age 45, died Sunday, December 31, 2017, at her home in East Prairie.
Born September 27, 1972, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Robert Paul Johnson and Paula S. Thurman Meeks, she had lived in Charleston growing up and attended Charleston Schools. A licensed beautician, she had owned the Downtown Style Shop in Sikeston and had attended the Elm Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Bobby Wayne Bowles of East Prairie; daughter, Saylor Britt Russell of East Prairie; three grandchildren, Victoria Kylinn Bowles, Kambri Bowles and Mylah Jolynn Russell; one brother, Robert Gene Meeks, II of Charleston; one sister, Patty (Jeffrey) Groves of Charleston; also two nieces and three nephews.
Besides her father and mother, she was preceded in death by one son, Nicholas Lee Johnson; her stepfather, Bob Meeks, and one step sister, Kimberly Meeks Earnest.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
