Bobbie Denise Wheatley

BOBBIE DENISE SHELTON WHEATLEY, age 57, of Sikeston, died Thursday, May 21, 2021, at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, MO.

She was born June 4, 1963, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Bob Shelton and Ruth Mae Warren Shelton and had lived in Sikeston most of her life.  She worked with her mother most of her young adult life at Ruth's La Cantina in Sikeston, later becoming a stay-at-home mom.   She recently moved to Columbia.

Surviving are her sons, Stephen Wheatley and Trevor Wheatley; stepson, Jerry Wheatley; stepdaughter,    Jessica Wheatley;  her grandchildren, Ellie Mae Wheatley, Lilly Wheatley, Jerry Wheatley, Lucas Wheatley, Kara Mayabb and Savanah Mayabb; her niece, Kimberley Warren Sanders and other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Warren and her sister, Doris Bartle.

Private family services will be held.

McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
