BOBBY ARLIN HEDGES, Age 73, a resident of East Prairie, died Friday, November 11, 2016, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 18, 1943, at Sassafras Ridge, to the late William Marlin and Mary Bell Moreland Hedges, he had lived in East Prairie most of his life and had been employed in farming and did auto detail work.

On August 21, 1993, he married Loretta Sue Lowery, who survives of the home in East Prairie.

Also surviving is two sons, Dale (Robin) Hedges and Stacy (Marilyn) Hedges of East Prairie; one daughter, Lisa (Marty) Carlyle of East Prairie; two step sons, Steve (Renee) Hedges of Villa Ridge, MO and Randy (Nancy) Hedges of East Prairie; five brothers, Lloyd Hedges of East Prairie, Bruce Martin of Vienna, IL, John Hedges of Martinton, IL, Terry Hedges of Benton and Jeff Hedges of Bertrand; four sisters, Louise Duke, Pauline Sipp, Martha Brown and Brenda Ray all of East Prairie; 4 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, James Stacy Hedges, Jr.; three brothers, Harvey Bawcum, James Hedges and William Lee Hedges, and by two sisters, Dorothy Jean Greer and Betty Sue Patrick.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
