BOBBY GENE NORTHERN, Age 58, died Thursday, June 9, 2016, at his home in Bertrand.
Born March 31, 1958, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Robert Eugene Northern and Wanda Della Ann Howton Northern, he had lived in Mississippi County most of his life. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he had been employed as a River Boat Pilot.
He was married to Barbara Watson Northern who survives of Bertrand.
Also surviving are: one brother, Robbin (Michelle) Northern of Marble Hill, MO; two sisters, Angela (Raymond) Fabing of Farmington and Sandra Stacy of Perryville, two step-sons, Steve Ahlfield and Bernie Golinski, Jr.; also a number of nieces and grand nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother in law, Donald Stacy and one step son, Brian Ahlfield.
There is no visitation.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the Missouri Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO, with military honors provided by the U.S. Navy and the Missouri Military Honors Program.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
