Bonnie Sue Ethridge, age 74, of rural Sikeston, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born February 29, 1948, at Lilbourn, MO, to the late Harvey Parker and Maggie Mae Evans Parker and had lived in Sikeston area most of her life. For many years she was employed at Piggly Wiggly and the later Food Giant in Sikeston.  A wonderful mother and grandmother, she was dedicated to her family. Bonnie was a gentle and kind person and so often sacrificed her own needs and took care of her family and friends.          She was a member of the Beulah Land Fellowship in Sikeston.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Ethridge, of Sikeston.

Also surviving are her children, David (Suzie) Ethridge of Monticello, AR; Dale (Angela) Ethridge of Tillar, AR and Sonya Taylor of Sikeston; her brother, Bill Parker of Jackson; nine grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. She is also survived by two special friends, Silvia Bell and Paula Martin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kasey Lynn Shelton; and her brothers and sisters, Harvey, Jr., Russell, Eddie, Sherman, Joe, Alice, Illa, Laverne, Juanita and Christine.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Dogwood Cemetery.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
