Bonnie Jean Buttry Neal, age 73, of East Prairie, died Sunday, August 15, 2021, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born July 23, 1948, at Charleston, to the late Willie Buttry and Bessie White Buttry.  She had lived in Mississippi County her entire life where she spent a number of years caring for her mom and dad and her special nephew, the late Donnie Buttry.

She was married to Junior Neal who preceded her in death.

Surviving is her special friend, Alvin Smith of East Prairie; her sons, Jerry, Larry, Tommy, Donnie, Gary and Roy and daughters, Joyce and Shirley; her brothers, Larry (Kim) Buttry, Tommy (Sandy) Buttry, Charles Buttry and Leroy Buttry, her sisters, Gladys Cast and Rosie Cornwell.  Also, a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to husband, parents and nephews, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray and Billy.

Visitation will be from 1:15 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
