Brenda Sue Jones Hunt, Age 74, a resident of East Prairie, died Thursday, November 22, 2018, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born October 25, 1944, in the Alfalfa Community of Mississippi County, MO, to the late Rowland D. Rodgers, Sr. and Hallie Jeter Rodgers, she had lived in Mississippi County her entire life and had worked as a cook at the Sands Café in Charleston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Hunt, Jr.

Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Lee (Douglas) Wilkerson of Wickliffe, KY and Hallie Marie (Edward) Owen of East Prairie; two grandchildren, Harley Nicole Owen and Thomas Elliott Wallace; one brother, Allen Rodgers of Charleston; two sisters, Ann Harris of Charleston and Linda Peddie of Wickliffe, KY; also, a number of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patsy Irene Jones and two brothers, Rowland Rodgers, Jr. and Thomas Rodgers.

Private services will be conducted.
