Brenda Sue Ivie Stacy, daughter of the late, L.B. Ivie and Estelene Kelly Ivie; was born on May 16, 1950, at 34 Corner in rural Mississippi County, MO and died, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Aspire Nursing Center in East Prairie.

She moved to East Prairie when she was six years old. Her best friends were always her sisters, Linnie, Glennie, and Darnell, and they were always inseparable! The Lord blessed Brennie with four children, and she was known as Nana by her nine beautiful grandchildren.

Brennie enjoyed lots of sunshine and the great outdoors. She loved being busy doing something all of the time. Her whole life she was a very hard worker. In fact, she worked circles around everyone, no one could keep up with her. There was nothing she could not accomplish once she set her mind to it!

Brennie never met a stranger and was loved by everybody! She dearly loved music, dancing, laughing, and just having fun! Most importantly, Brennie knew Jesus and today she is dancing with Jesus on the Streets of Gold! We all love you and will miss you dearly until we see you again!!!

Surviving are her children, Tonja (Noel) Burgess of Oakland, TN; Toby (Aimee) Scruggs of East Prairie; Brandon Munson of East Prairie; and Megan (Jonathan) Schlager of Navarre, FL; grandchildren, Austin Burgess, Jack Scruggs, Zach Burgess, Maddie Burgess, Mac Munson, Ben Burgess,Ty Munson, Samuel Scruggs and Lily Schlager; great grandson, Talon David Scruggs; her sisters and brothers, Linda (Fred) Organ, Glenda (Roger) Scott and Darnell (Robert Jackson of East Prairie; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Martin Lucas will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Bubbie Scott, Vance Fisher, Brady Jackson, Jack Scruggs, Mac Munson and Dax Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Jackson, Fred Organ and Roger Scott.
