Brian Wayne Burns, 50, a life long resident of Sikeston, died Sunday Oct. 9, 2016 at the Hazard A.R.H. Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born May 10, 1966 in Alton, Illinois to the late Gerald Wayne and Charlene (Cooksey) Burns. He was a graduate of Sikeston Public Schools and had attended Auto Diesel Mechanics School in Nashville. He was a member of Diehlstadt Baptist Church and Bob Ross Painting Club and was self-employed in the home construction business. Survivors include his fiancée, Megan Duff of the home; 1 son & daughter-in-law, B.J. & Whitley Burns of Sikeston; 2 brothers, Mark Burns of Sikeston and Scott Burns of Alton, Illinois. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Destiney Pope, Summer Pope and Autumn Burns. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Crystal Lea Ann Schultz Aug. 9, 2016 and 1 sister Becky Marie Burns. Visitation will be Tuesday Oct. 18 from 11:00 am until time for services at 1:00 pm at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Bro Larry Tucker, Pastor of Providence Missionary Baptist Church at Puxico will officiate and burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be B.J.
