BRIAN LEE SHELTON, Age 53, died Sunday, May 16, 2021, at his home in Sikeston.

He was born March 2, 1968, in Sikeston, MO, to Donald R. Shelton and Mary Ann Seiler Shelton, who survive of Sikeston.  Brian had lived in Sikeston most of his life where he started to work at the Piggly Wiggly in Miner as a young man and worked his way up to assistant manager and was then employed with Rainwater Irrigation.  For several years he lived in Springfield, MO where he was employed in the Cable industry before returning to Sikeston.   He was of Catholic belief and had attended St. Francis Church in Sikeston in years past.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his daughter, Hailey Nicole Shelton; his sister, Judy Pratt and his nieces, Kinsey Pratt and Karli Pratt; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

On March 10, 2021, Brian's son, Caden Lee James Shelton preceded him in death.   In addition to his son, Brian is also preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Juanita Shelton and Albert and Margaret Seiler as well as his uncles, Ronnie Seiler and Bobby Seiler and his aunt, Shirley Waddle.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 21, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Jason Davis will officiate.

A joint inurnment of Brian and his son Caden will follow in the columbarium at the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
