Obituary
C. STEPHEN ENGLAND, Age 56, a resident of Cape Girardeau and formerly of East Prairie, died at 7:45 a.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at his home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 13, 1953 at Sikeston, Missouri to Joan Johnson England who survives of Cape Girardeau and the late Charles A. England. He had a love and passion for music and had studied voice with Katherine Boone and Avis Muench.
Surviving besides his mother are: his aunts, Sharon Schisler of St. Louis, Nadine Sterling of Imperial, Evelyn Upton of East Prairie, Bernita Johnson of St. Louis and Doris J. Ganus of Searcy, AR; his beloved dog, Corky; and also a number of cousins, relatives and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Cashus and Mary England and maternal grandparents, Frank and Stella Johnson.
Family and friends may assemble at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 28, 2009 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Charleston for graveside services. Danny Kuykendall of Sikeston, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
