Obituary
CARMAN LOUISE BROWN, age 75, a resident of Charleston, died July 25, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Sikeston.
She was born March 7, 1942 in Delta to Oliver Amos and Connie Marie Fox Snider. On September 13, 1970 she married C.D. Brown who preceded her in death on May 10, 2017.
Following her marriage in 1970 she moved to Charleston where she was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She moved her membership to the Church of God of Prophecy in Bertrand when the Charleston church closed.
Surviving are four children, John Patterson Brown of Wyatt, Timothy Allen Snider of Newport, AR, Candace Lee Drum of Perryville, and Connie Marie Velazquez of Sikeston; one brother, Jim Snider of Chaffee; also numerous grand and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one stillborn infant, two brothers, Dean Snider and Oliver Amos Snider Jr; and three sisters, Charlotte Jean Gillihan, Verna Blue, and Mary Jane Snider.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the McMikle Funeral Home from 10:00 until the funeral hour at 11:00 am. Rev. Ken Johnson, chaplain with Tri County Hospice, will officiate.
Interment will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Scopus under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Church of God of Prophecy in Bertrand.
