Carmella Beth Sterling, age 55, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at her home in Sikeston.

She was born December 4, 1966, at Gideon, MO, to the late Alfred Bryant Bragg or Donna Starnes Bragg.  She had lived in Charleston a number of years before most recently moving to Sikeston.   She had been employed with Mid-Town Motel, the Drury Inn and later with Charleston Manor.

On October 2, 1983, she married William Thomas "Boe" Sterling, who preceded her in death on November 26, 2018.

Surviving are her children, Lisa Sterling and Gary Sterling of Sikeston; Ronda Fleig of St. Genevieve, MO; 11 grandchildren, Cody Graham, Heather Hill, JT Nanney, Austin Bailey, Devon Nanney, Morgan Sloan, Josh Kolwyck, Tristan Marrs, Paige Herzog, Lizzy Marrs and Gary Sterling, II.; 11 great grandchildren; her sister, Beverly Carter of Poplar Bluff and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Dusty Sterling and Mary Beth Sterling; her brother, Alfred Bragg, Jr., Melody Bragg and Denise Bragg; and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 8, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Rev. Joe McCollough, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
