Obituary

CAROL ANN BUTLER, age 68, died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at her residence in Charleston.

She was born April 30, 1946 in Highland, IL to the late W.R. and Doris Campbell Nally. She moved to Tucson, AZ in 1979 where she worked at the University Of Arizona Hospital. She moved back to Mississippi County in 1999 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wyatt.

On February 14, 1965 she married Ronnie Lee Butler who survives of the home.

Also surviving are two daughters, Paige Butler (Travis) Kirkpatrick III of Charleston, and Misty Butler Thornton of Charleston; two brothers, Lowell (Joan) Nally of Wyatt and Charles (Carrie) Nally of Monticello, AR; one brother in law, Tommy Butler of Charleston; two sisters in law, Marilyn Nally of Cape Girardeau, and Karen Butler of Charleston; also five grandchildren, Staff Sergeant A.J. (Asal) Bedoy stationed with the US Army at Ft. Benning, GA, Cynthia Butler, Riley Thornton, Travis Kirkpatrick IV, and Katelyn Kirkpatrick all of Charleston.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Nally, and two sisters in law, Marsha Butler Carlisle and Glenda Butler Brumley.

Family and Friends will assemble at the IOOF Cemetery for graveside services at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014. Rev. Dean Wallace, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Wyatt, will officiate.


Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Staff Sergeant A.J. Bedoy, Riley Thornton, Travis Kirkpatrick IV, Travis Kirkpatrick III, Tommy Butler, and Jeremy Butler.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
