Carol Diane (Reeves) Kindred, 65, died at her home in Blodgett, Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. She was born Dec. 18, 1947 in Sikeston to Wayne Reeves who survives of Blodgett and the late Polly (Morrison) Reeves. A resident of this area all of her life, she had worked at A & B Cleaners, King Cleaners, and had managed Super 8 Motel at Marston. She later bought King Cleaners, changed the name to A & B Cleaners and owned and operated it. On Jan. 9, 1965 she was married to Gary N. Kindred, Sr. in Sikeston and he survives of the home. Besides her husband and father, she is survived by 2 sons & daughters-in-law Gary, Jr. & Teresa Kindred of Blodgett, and Phillip & Christi Kindred of Rogersville; two brothers, DeWayne Reeves of Blodgett and John Paul Reeves of Sikeston; 3 sisters, Janet Miller of Sikeston, Margaret Russell of Blodgett and Linda Jenkins of Blodgett. Four grandchildren Heather, Layne, Shelby & Dylan Kindred also survive. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by 1 brother, Jerry Wayne Reeves and 1 sister, Janie Ellsworth. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at the Blodgett Cemetery with Rev. Todd Crumley, pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy in Sikeston officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Kindred, Jr., Everett Taylor, Randy Cook, John Paul Reeves, Dylan Kindred and Devin Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Tidwell and Brandon Copeland.
