Obituary

Carol Ann Collier Sparks, was born in Cairo, IL, on October 11, 1947, the second of four children to the late Robert Leonard and Antoinette Marie Sgarlata Collier of Bertrand, MO, and passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 31, 2016, in Lawton, OK.

Carol is survived by her husband, Gary of Camden, TN; son, Major Lucas
C Sparks and his wife Tori their Children Madeleine, Thomas, and Hunter, currently of Lawton, OK; brother, Bob Collier and wife Janet of Spring City, TN; sister Cathy Woodson and her husband Keith of Rowlett, TX; Nieces Anni Germscheid of Rockwall, TX, Kelsie Woodson of Rowlett, TX, and Kim Reitz of St Louis, MO. Nephews Chris Collier of Huntsville, AL, Scott Collier of Austin, TX; and many other extended family and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Robert Leonard and Antoinette Marie Collier of Bertrand, MO; and her sister Linda Sue of Dallas, TX.

Carol was a member of the Chalk Hill Baptist Church in Camden, TN. She made her living as a Secretary and of most interest to her, as an Antique vendor. She enjoyed traveling and camping and fall was her favorite time of year.

Carol was a resident of Willow Park in Lawton, OK, and Oak Manor in
McKenzie, TN after she was unable to reside at home. The family wishes
to express thanks and gratitude toward the staff of both of these facilities.

Family and friends may assemble for graveside services at I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston, MO, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017.

Flowers may be delivered directly to the cemetery.
