Carolyn Denise Dunnigan

Carolyn Denise Dunnigan, age 54, of Charleston, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Carolyn was born October 26, 1970, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Bobby Johnson and Mae Branigan Johnson, she had lived in East Prairie most of her life most recently living in Charleston.   She loved being a homemaker, cooking and caring for her grandchildren.

She was married to Moszel Dunnigan, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Bianca (James) Miller, Sonya Dunnigan and Son'a Dunnigan; seven grandchildren; her special friend, Glen Welch; her brothers and sisters, Melvin (Armedrest) Branigan, Patty Branigan, Ricky (Elvira) Branigan, Sandra (Everick) Emmanuel; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Moszel Dunnigan and her parents, Bobby Johnson and Mae Branigan Johnson.

Private services will be held.

McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
