Carolyn Deloris Miller, age 85, of Sikeston, MO, died Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Delta South Skilled Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO.
Born May 20, 1940, in the Salcedo Community near Sikeston, MO, Carolyn was the youngest of ten children born to William Arthur Miller and Addie Bell Couch Miller. She had lived in Sikeston most of her life and was a longtime member of The Sanctuary Church. For many years she was employed with International Shoe Company and later National Lock Company and remained there until her retirement. Carolyn loved music and to share her talents by giving guitar lessons and spent time in the Sikeston Kindergarten Center as a grandmother. She loved sharing her famous divinity.
Carolyn is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Dorothy Teel, Roy Miller, Cartha Campbell, Marvin Miller, William “Buck” Miller, Margaret Burlison, twin brothers, Albern “Biggum” Miller and Albert “Shorty” Miller and Glenda Causey.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Sanctuary, 1506 North Main Street, Sikeston, MO, with Pastor Jay Teague officiating.
Interment will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter, MO, under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
