CATHY ANN MARSHALL POWELL, Age 55, a resident of Charleston, died Wednesday, October 02, 2013, at the Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.
Born February 10, 1958, at Wyatt, Missouri, to the late Harrison and Audrey Mae Allen Marshall, she was a 1976 graduate of Charleston High School and had lived in Charleston most of her life. She had been employed as a home health care worker until ill health forced her retirement.
On August 14, 1976, she married Dennis Ray Powell, who preceded her in death October 15, 1984.
Surviving are: two sons, Christopher Powell of Charleston and Aaron Powell of Orlando, FL; one daughter, Stacy Passley of Gray Ridge; one brother, Danny Marshall of Bertrand; two sisters, Rita Clardy of Sikeston and Sheila Pullen of Charleston; two grandchildren, Madeline Brooke Passley and Braxton Mackenzie Passley.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Brunck.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until time for memorial service at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston. Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor, will officiate.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
