Charlene Mae Patterson, 83, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.   She was born Nov. 25, 1934 in Steelville, Mo. to the late Winston C.  and Eva Mae (Caringer) Kehner.  A resident of this area since 1953 she was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.  On Jan. 8, 1954 she was married to Paul E. Patterson in Sikeston and he preceded her in death February 11, 2015.  She is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Roberta Patterson of Scott City and 1 daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Dan Fugate of Kansas City.  Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 1 son, Michael Patterson and 3 brothers.  Graveside rites will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
