CHARLES THOMAS "TOMMY" EATON JR., age 72, died Monday, September 27, 2021, at his home in Sikeston.

He was born August 27, 1949 in Louisville, KY to Charles T. and Mary Eaton Sr. Following his graduation from Sikeston High School in 1967, he was drafted by the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He was discharged in January 1971 and returned to Sikeston.

In October 1976 he married Janeen Jones who survives.

Also surviving are two children, Heidi Nicole Eaton of Sikeston and Toby Charles (Laci) Eaton of Dexter; his mother, Mary Eaton Adams of Miner; one brother, Danny (Sandy) Eaton of Memphis, TN; one sister, Sandra (Kyle) Guthrie of Miami, MO; and 6 grandchildren, Bryce Davidson, Garrett Eaton, Rylee Nicole Eaton, Breya Micole Davidson, Ryan Eaton and Brynlee Eaton.

His father preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston on Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Dwayne Coleman, of Sikeston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Toby Eaton, Bryce Davidson, Bryan Jones, Matt Ryan, Jason Eaton, and Kip Guthrie.
