CHARLES ORAS FITZGERALD, Age 56, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at his residence in rural Wyatt.

He was born November 22, 1954 in Wyatt, MO to the late Oris Douglas Fitzgerald and Mary Louise Lomax Fitzgerald Vaughn. He had lived in Wyatt his entire life and was of Pentecostal belief. He had been employed at Waterfront Marine Service at Cairo, Fitzgerald Marine Service as a Deckhand mate, and was currently employed with Mark Dugan Farms.

Surviving are four brothers, Riley Fitzgerald and Michael Fitzgerald both of Wyatt; Don Fitzgerald of Keystone Heights, FL and Clint Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, FL; and four sisters, Bess Harris of Wyatt; Charlotte Knece of Onalaska, TX; Linda O'Toole of Masaryktown, FL and Evelyn Reddit of Zephyr Hills, FL.


He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Fitzgerald and Coy Douglas Fitzgerald; two sisters, Stella Fitzgerald Bauer and Shirley Ann Fitzgerald.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Kenneth Gibson, Pastor of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wyatt, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Jeff Garner, Allen Garner, Riley Fitzgerald, Jr., Kevin Fitzgerald, Hunter Garrett, Clay Garner, Timmy Fitzgerald, Mark Dugan and Holt Dugan.
